Personal Credit

When you have a personal credit line that is registered for just you or your spouse, it is referred to as private credit. Most credit card companies or banks have a privacy policy. The privacy policy states that they do and have the right and will not disclose any of your information to other people or other companies. The creditor that you have selected cannot disclose your credit information to anyone. A secured private credit account will ask for you to have an open bank account and you must keep this bank account open. An unsecured one will not ask for this because they do not need your bank account because your information will not be private. There are private credit information bureaus.

They keep records of private information that are available to lenders. These bureaus help lenders asess risk management and help lenders make decisions. Private credit bureaus keep highly detailed credit histories, credit reports, and public credit registries. They are run by bank managers and a a very big help when it comes to making a decision in the loan department. You may think you credit history is known only to you and your credit card company, but you are wrong. Banks as well as any other type of lender can get your credit history thanks to private credit bureaus.
